EJ-260 plastic Scintillator |

This green emitting plastic scintillator has been formulated for use where longer wavelength are advantageous for purpose of light piping and for better optical coupling to solidstate photosensors. Because of its longer emission wavelength it will exhibit somewhat greater radiation hardness than conventional blue emitting plastic scintillators. |
At the same time, the green fluorescence is of short enough wavelength and the scintillation efficiency high enough for successful use with determined with a flat response photo detector and would be approximately one half that level for a typical bialkali phototube. |
